Darren Hunt has faced many challenges in business & in life and it’s not all been plain sailing.
Over time creating for himself and others property portfolios, this success was great but something was missing, he put on loads of weight, drank a little too much and became a little depressed.
He reached a point when he weighed himself on his 41st birthday having got out of breath climbing the stairs. Switching his diet and lost over 42lbs, kicked the booze and ran his first marathon in Newyork 9 months later. He escaped from a business & partnership which he bought with No Money, but was more challenging than successful and set up business’s more in line with his values.
As the late great Steve Jobs once said ‘you have to love what you do’.
Darren discovered his success in the strangest of places! From a ‘A Dark Lake District valley’ to standing on the top of Kilimanjaro. No ordinary entrepreneur, he has a BIG message – seeks his solace best when he’s pushing himself on adventures in Nepal or on Ultra marathons. Darren, as well as a property investor and coach, works with small charities facilitating charity events, such as the national 3 peaks and treks to Everest Base Camp & Kilimanjaro.
He shares these experiences, along with how healthy lifestyle, contribute to his secrets of success, to inspire school children & business owners around the UK through ‘Challenge 52′.
So how can running 106 miles in the depths of winter, nonstop for 60 hours or getting rescued by helicopter from the Himalaya with a deadly form of Altitude sickness prepare you for property investment, business & life?
